These were making the rounds on tumblr last week, so I thought I would compile all of the “Rude Girls” comics I have. There are only 5 that I know of. I can’t find any more information on them, but I remember when I got them off a tripod site in the late 90s(yes, I’m dating myself), I remember that the person that published them stated that they were in an English paper in the late 1970s.
The use of “surprise lines” is gold.
The Bodysnatchers didn’t get a chance to mature and record a full-length album. However, they had a lot of material.
I am so lucky - I managed to get my hands on a Bodysnatchers bootleg about 7 or 8 years ago. I’ve never seen or heard this material anywhere else. If any of you are interested, let me know. I could upload it to podomatic or something.
You don’t see many Rude Girls like this about anymore…and the ones you do see, well…we’re mostly old, drunk, and crusty!
